Hello - this is my first venture into the Matlab filtering world, so

I apologize for my ignorance. I am attempting to run a script which

uses the matlab butter.m function, and I keep getting the error:

Undefined function or variable 'iirchk'

This function iirchk is hard-coded in the butter.m signal processing

toolbox, but I can't find a 'iirchk.m' function anywhere.

Has anyone else ever gotten this error? Does anyone know where

iirchk.m resides?

Thanks!

      It's in:

      ...\toolbox\signal\signal\private\iirchk.m

Which means it's a private function. Here's alink to ML's docs on

      "Private Functions":
