Hi,
I am new to 3D plotting and have a question about the axis control. I
am trying to create a plot which shows the x axis exactly horizontal
and the y axis vertical at the front, and the z axis leading into the
back of the screen. I have tried view([103 10]) which gives me an
effect close to what I want, but unfrotunatelly it also rotates the x
and yaxis.
This is the orientation I am trying to get.

 Hi Christoph,
Setting the axes "Projection" property to "Perspective" might yield the
effect you are looking for:
set(gca,'Projection','Perspective')
I hope this helps.
